Flatwork
Driveways, Walkways, Pads
One of the easiest ways to upgrade your curb appeal is to pour a concrete driveway or install a concrete walkway around your house.
Opting for concrete not only offers an aesthetically pleasing appearance but also requires minimal upkeep. The durability and versatility of concrete make it an ideal choice as it can withstand various weather conditions while maintaining its finished look.
Top Level Construction can also pour functional concrete pads for your hot tubs, air conditioning units, or outdoor patio.
Walkouts
Basement Walkout and Staircase
If you have an unused basement and are looking to turn it into a secondary unit or if you just want direct access into the basement from outside or your garage, a basement walkout with a poured concrete staircase is a great option!
As a full service contractor, we are able to excavate, form, and pour a custom basement walkout including cutting your current foundation wall and installing a new exterior door.

Warranty
At Top Level Construction, we deeply value the dedication and expertise that our employees demonstrate in their work, which is why all our concrete projects come with a standard 1-year warranty. Should there be an issue with the materials or installation of any concrete project, we will ensure that these issues are resolved to your satisfaction.
While concrete is a strong building material, it can be damaged by a number of elements or factors. Damages caused by conditions outside of our control cannot be covered by our warranty. These could include unexpected wear and tear, harsh chemicals, unapproved cleaners, de-icers (salt), equipment (hot tubs, air-conditioners, etc.), or vehicles.
Typical damage to concrete is not unexpected, especially if exposed to outdoor elements. These could include cracks, spalling (flacking or chipping), settlement, lifting or frost heave, or discolouration. These items, while typical, are not covered under our warranty unless due to improper installation.
Aftercare
Concrete can take up to 28 days to fully cure and harden, avoid heavy loads on the concrete during this period

Fill or repair any cracks in the concrete as these are points of entry for any water to get into or under the concrete and cause further damage such as freezing or erosion

Do not use harsh chemicals or unapproved cleaners on the concrete

Do not drive on the concrete within the first 7 days after pouring

Avoid parking vehicles along the edges of the concrete as these areas are the weakest and most susceptible to damage from heavy loads

Do not walk on the concrete within the first 24 hours after pouring

Do not use salt or chemical de-icers to remove ice from the surface, use sand for grip instead

Do not use metal shovels to remove snow or ice

Ensure the blades of any snowblowers are kept high to avoid scratching the surface of the concrete

Re-apply approved concrete sealer to the surface as per the product instructions every 1-3 years, depending on the product

Do not direct water from downspouts onto the concrete surface or under the concrete

Remove organic debris (such as dirt or leaves) or fertilizers from the surface promptly as these elements may stain or deteriorate the surface of the concrete.

Use caution when using pressure-washers on the concrete surface
